Is slang in the teenage environment the norm or a serious problem that needs to be solved? To answer this seemingly difficult question, it is necessary to clearly understand what jargons, argots, slangs and the literary language are. This article helps us understand the definitions of the above concepts and understand the difference between them. The main emphasis is on the importance of the Russian literary language for the formation of a literate personality.
